Welcome beloved heart to our sacred space, we are humbled you have landed here and are considering making an offering to our beloved Shipibo Sisters. We are honoured to be connected to many of the 56 Shipibo Weaving communities and have created this space so brothers and sisters around the world can make offerings directly to the Shipibo Tribe. So together, as one heart we can do our part, as a bridge that honours ancestral abundance and flows offerings created from this ancient knowledge directly to the villages from whence they came.

Presenting this Shipibo tapestry, painted in the San Francisco Shipibo Community

This painted Tapestry shows the Icaro of Piri Piri, a sacred master plant to the Shipibo Konibo and one that is dieted by most of the tribe. Most Shipibo Children have dieted Piri Piri as this sacred plant is one that connects the dietero to the world of Shipibo Designs. After receiving drops of Piri in the eyes and dieting for a few days Shipibo Children are able to connect more deeply to the visual world of Ayahuasca and Piri Piri is a sacred guide for the weavings of the Shipibo tapestries and Shipibo Geometric Designs.

This Shipibo Tapestry is 140cm by 150 cm (55.1 inches by 59.0 inches)  and is painted with the Shipibo Icaro Design Of Piri Piri

This tapestry is painted with corteza, which is a mix of plants that produces the black colour that then in turn dyes the cloth. This is an ancestral practice of the Shipibo-Konibo and a knowledge that has been passed down through their lineage for generations.
